A position indicator button is provided to indicate your location on the main map page.
Pressing the button will turn on the location indicator and will also enable tracking as you move. Pressing the button again will turn it off.
The function and/or accuracy of the position indication will vary depending on your particular device, and may not work at all if “Location Services” are turned off on your device. A GPS-enabled device should give an accurate position on the base map if a data signal is available.
When the position indicator and tracking is ‘on’ the base map will be ‘Open Street Map’ by default, Bing OS Maps are not available when using this service.
